Day 15 of the Who What Wear 30 Day Wardrobe Challenge was "create a look with 3 levels of layering." Ok this vest has a built in silk panel that looks like another layer so I technically cheated but whatevs.

And now time to get real…..You might have noticed that I haven't been keeping up with my "new things" lately and honestly I made it through 60 days when life hit me smack dab in the forehead. I've been down in the dumps for several reasons until last week when I heard the best piece of advice that really hit home……. Your mind can only expend so much energy…and if you use it thinking negative thoughts and caring about what people think about you and things you cannot change than all of that negativity takes away from the positive space.  I started visualizing negative thoughts going out of my mind and only concentrating on the positive ones and honestly I feel so much lighter. Doodle and his lightness starting rubbing off on me and the world around me has felt brighter. Yes, we all still have issues we have to deal with on a daily basis….but I'm not going to fill my mind with negative space…..only positive thoughts and lightness.
