Eeek hello friends. Today is a big post...I was inspired by Audrey Hepurn in Roman Holiday so I channeled her classic ensemble with a purple pleated skirt yay...ANDDDDD I was nominted by a fellow blogger for a....Liebster Award which is an honor given to new bloggers.

how exciting!!! I feel honored because I'll be honest...to get this blog up and running every day is exhausting when you are chasing around an 8 month old baby and barely have time to brush your hair.

Betty Draper at the Museum

I was feeling very Betty Draper-ish in this outfit today...and although she is a total biatch on the show I long for her wardrobe! It was a big day for the doodle man with both sets of grandparents coming in and the whole lot of us going to the Natural Science Museum. What a tiring but great afternoon! Can't wait to see who I'll feel like channeling tomorrow :)

After a pretty crappy night I arose this morning (at 4:30 mind you) wanting to escape into another world. And since this is my blog about trying to find my new style I decided to give Alice's look a spin around the block. I found my own Wonderland just 2 miles down the road...and although it doesn't consist of mad hatters and evil queens...it does have beautiful fountains and frozen yogurt...what more could I ask for? Since I was channeling Alice I decided to debut my new fanfreakintastic necklace made out of repurposed leather...obsessed much? And ok, 4 inch wedges are not the most practical "mom" shoes, but I was in my Wonderland, so kiss it evil queen!
