I'm sure by now you guys have come to know me for my crazy prints and funky silhouettes (and crazy faces for that matter...not sure what's going on with the Elvis lip in these shots!).....but some mornings I wake up and I just want to go with classic black and white. But if I'm going to take that route I'm going to do it in full on (faux) leather and some seriously chic heels...and I had to add a little bit of Brooke to the outfit with a fun pop of color. And I understand the irony of this post considering it snowed in NC last night....but on Sunday when Molly and I shot this it was 76 outside....ps we MAY or may not have trespassed to get these shots.....happy weekend skrillas :)

Its a bird, its a plane...nah its just me wearing a vintage coat like a cape and jumping off a ledge, the usual. A couple of months ago Molly and I were walking around downtown Chapel Hill when I found this awesome vintage coat and I've been pondering what to wear with it ever since. So naturally, I went with a baseball tee, skinnies and some fierce heels.

So yea, sometimes I get soo annoyed when I see you girls out there with your perfectly coifed hair and flawless makeup and manicured nails and here I am with literally a can of dry shampoo at the top of my head and globs of yogurt and mysterious cheerios at the bottom.

And then I think to myself......you not only got dressed this morning......you kept another human being alive.......screw looking flawless..........#MomHairDon'tCare, happy Monday skrillas :)
