Burberry at Breakfast

trench: vintage burberry (loving this one) // top: madewell similar(here) // jeans: free people (similar here) // shoes: shoemint (similar here) // stole: old, loving this one // sunnies: ray ban (similar here) // bag: stella & dot // leather gloves: stolen from mammadukes

This was definitely one of those "make it work" days…..naturally I was running late trying to get doodle ready for school (getting him dressed has become an epic battle every morning) and did not have time to think about getting myself dressed. I started out with a neutral monochromatic base (as usual) and then thought ahhhh I need something simple, chic and a little dramatic to add some flare…..then boom….my vintage Burberry trench…..derrrr :)

PS I love how Sheree has been wearing her faux furs on the outside of her coats so I tried it out and it gave just the right amount of luxe and warmth to the look.

Every Once in a While……..

dress: vintage via bolo vintage (similar here) // leather jacket: old, similar here // coat: madewell (here) // boots: shoemint (similar here) // bag: balenciaga // scarf: alexander mcqueen (available here) // hat: michael stars (similar here) // jewels: stella & dot and tiffany & co heart ring (available here)

Alright I know I straight up dyed my hair pink last year…..but ever since my blogging hiatus and complete transformation last summer pink is just not my color. But, every once in a while I find a piece that makes my jaw drop and I don't care what color it is if the fabric and cut speak to me. This vintage slip dress was one of those pieces……

HOWEVER, if I'm going to do pink then its going to be toughened up with a McQueen razor blade scarf and some moto boots…….

The New Classics

sweater: asos (similar here) // jeans: rag and bone (similar here) // coat: gap (similar here) // shoes: 10 crosby derek lam (available here) // bag: 3.1 phillip lim (similar here) // sunnies: prada (similar here) // scarf: madewell (available here) // watch: michael kors (available here) // rings: stella & dot

Ever since I turned 25 last June my whole mindset on clothing changed. Now that Andrew is a running, speaking and potty training in progress toddler my wardrobe has to work over time…..I literally don't have time to think about what to wear anymore. So I've worked hard to stock my closet with some "new" classics. My camel coat has obviously been working overtime….distressed denim almost every day, instead of a black mom bag my Phillip Lim cream 31 hour bag has lead the way and obviously my Derek Lam animal print boots (yes I now own multiple pairs) have injected my quirk into every outfit. So…..what are some classics that you guys can't live without these days?
