Happy 2013 skrillas!!!!  I know its not technically starting over but the beginning of a new year always feels so fresh and exciting....like what can I do next?! I know I'm interrupting the regularly scheduled Copycat Lookbook series but it will be back next week (ps I'm copying Solange Knowles...get excited). Anywhos, being a "blogger" (ick I'm actually starting to hate that term) I spend an insane amount of time on my iPhone and iPad so naturally they are just as adorned as the rest of me.

Sooooo I was supaaa excited when graphique de france sent me this awesome cover for my iPad!!! Its a new product that is kind of perfect for people that can't live without their techie items and need them to be protected but still chic. And I was even more excited when I saw that they had sent 2 which means........I'm giving away one to you guys!!!!!! I think the Rose Bling definitely makes a statement! These are being given away at the SAG awards, chosen by People Magazine.....and they aren't even on sale yet!  PS aren't you loving my new Stella & Dot phone case?!!

Hello friends, for some reason my video yesterday messed up my html code and I don't know if you could read my text/ funny quip of the day. Anywhos, I spotted this photo of someone at Paris Fashion Week and shrieked with excitement....I totally had similar items in my closet and I lurve the mix of a sporty sweatshirt with a brocade skirt. And the custom collar from Kawaii Kitsch by A by Allison from A's Fashion Files  totally takes the outfit to the next lev, if you know what I mean (obsessed). I'm also pretty stoked to debut my new diy sweatshirt (totally stollen from an ASOS sweater but like way cheaper) and diy (or as my husband called them bedazzled.....diy just sounds classier muhahah) sunglasses! Lastly, if you just asked yourself if that was a diaper in my see-through purse then you were correct......

You know what makes me happy..... "Style with a Purpose"- little steps like buying a gorgeous accessory for a cause. I wanted to show some support and wear pink today to help promote awareness and early detection for breast cancer.....a cause all woman should get on board with. My favorite item from the Stella & Dot Breast Cancer Awareness Collection is the Hope Bracelet....with one single rose gold wing its absolutely gorgeous and I haven't taken it off since it arrived last week. Sugared Plums and Pumpkin Pie Blizzards

Ok so this outfit reminded me of this sugared plum Yankee Candle I have.....but, you guys.....I hit a new low yesterday. So anyone that knows me is aware that I have very little will power or self control, especially when it comes to food....and yesterday I happened to be walking through the mall when a sign caught my eye....it was a PUMPKIN....PIE.....BLIZZARD.....WHAT?????!!!! Yea, boom obviously I ordered one....then I saw the bacon, cheddar hot dog and was like "if I'm gona do this then I'm gona go all the way." Horrible idea, terrible.  Thankfully you can't see all of the bacon bits and pumpkin pie ice cream I dropped all over this outfit in these pictures. I guess my lesson was.......nevermind, I just found some chocolate downstairs!

"The Momiform Diaries" Lesson #2: Lighten Up

Soooo the second lesson I'm sharing with you guys for "The Momiform Diaries" is actually the first lesson I learned after SHOCKINGLY finding out that I was becoming a mother. For the first 4 months of my pregnancy I was convinced I was having a girl....like I literally went out and bought an entire closet full of baby girl clothes.....needless to say at the 20 week sonogram I found out I was having a boy.....and everything changed. That was my first realization that nothing in life is how you expected it to be.

When you lighten up and see the world as how it is and not how it should be it allows you to experience new things...I never looked back after finding out I was having a boy...in fact, after seeing my husband's face in that room after we heard the news I thought to myself "I will just keep popping boys out just to see that look again." And my sweet doodle bug baby boy is the most amazing thing I have ever created in my life.

So I guess my point is....LIGHTEN UP, with life and with fashion. Is that my 65 lb pound puppy in a red polka dress that just so happens to match her mommy's? Why yes, yes it is....and do you know why she is wearing that rediculous dress.....because she is the only other girl I get to dress right now....and because life is short!!!!
