Eeek so after seeing everyone at fashion week trudging through heaps of snow and looking like their faces were about to fall off I'm actually a little less bummed I wasn't there....and I'm REALLY excited to share what's going to be happening in February on the blog. In case you missed it on Friday I'm doing a segment on what I would be wearing if I was at fashion week so here is day 1!!!!

I recently saw several envelope skirts that I fell in love with in Lucky magazine but of course every single one that I loved was like the cost of my monthly bills and living expenses combined so when I spotted this one from Sylvia & Luka I knew I had to have it!!!! I'm going to have to stop myself from wearing it every day because I legit want to.....anywhos, happy Monday skrillas and I can't wait to show you my next fashion week ensemble :)

Happy Friday skrillas.....this past week I was reading an article on Phillip Lim (the maker of my favorite pair of oxfords in the world that I'm sporting today) when a quote he said caught my attention: "start with your quirk and build on it".......So inspirational right?! I'd like to think he was speaking directly to me, so lets just pretend he was. It feels like I have finally found my direction and that is I DON'T HAVE ONE... I discovered I can't be pegged with one "style"; I just love beautiful, interesting clothes.

And being that New York Fashion Week is in full swing right now I'm excited to share with you my current project. Instead of sulking about not being able to go to any fashion events I decided to bring them to me......Starting on Monday I'll be celebrating New York Fashion Week by showing the outfits I would wear if I was going and sitting front row at all of the shows. The next week will be London Fashion Week outfits, the week after  will be Milan Fashion Week and the piece de resistance is Paris Fashion Week. Fashion Week is the time where you just go balls to the walls with your most creative and fashion forward outfits so I'm going to really push myself and hopefully it will inspire you guys to do the same!!!

Hello hello....I know I just kind of hit you Monday with the new hair color without an explanation...so let 'splain myself. I'm tired of being deemed a "cute" little blonde girl. I just happen to be blonde and little but that doesn't mean that I'm "cute"....and I know that the term cute isn't bad but for some reason it holds a negative connotation for me, its just that I can think of so many other adjectives to describe myself. So....while standing in the hair color aisle at Walgreens this weekend with an issue of Glamour in one hand and my skinny vanilla latte in the other I said "what the hell, lets do this....." And I'm not sure if you can tell.....but that last picture is me "grabbing the bull by the horns" a nice little analogy for what is happening in my life at the moment. 

Soooo I'm curious, is there anything that you guys have been thinking about doing but just haven't had the guts to?????? PS how awesome is this Le Tote top......loving it with the new do!
