I don't know about you guys….but I'm one of those people that will purchase an item and keep it for months….even years…..in my closet until its the right time. This Castles Couture dress has been with me for several months now patiently waiting and it finally made its debut. Actually, its about to make its debut at a bachelorette weekend in Savannah this weekend….but I couldn't wait to share it on the blog first. In wardrobe choices AND in life patience is a virtue…..I'm still working on the patience when it comes to life…that's for sure.

There comes a point in everyone's life where you wake up and ask "when did THIS become my reality?" If your life feels out of balance or "off" then chances are it probably is.

After this realization the next question is "what do I do?". Do you stay and keep going through the motions because its the "right" thing to do? Do you remain complacent because it has become comfortable? Or do you take a chance and leap off into the unknown?

At the ripe age of 9 a valuable lesson came to me....you must experience pain in order to appreciate how beautiful life really can be. If you want to be genuinely happy then you must take that risk that life has more to offer you.

Yes, starting over and major life changes are terrifying.....but they are also exhilarating.....because for the first time in so long your future has not been decided for you....its now open and waiting for you to keep pushing ahead, And its nice to finally understand the quote "life begins at the end of your comfort zone......"

As I mentioned I've been shooting the Who What Wear 30 Day Wardrobe Challenge out of order and I've been done with it for several months now….but I'm determined to show every look on the blog so here is the "give a feminine dress edge with a moto jacket". Obviously I did my own spin on this with a denim moto jacket and my new favorite gold Vanessa Mooney choker. Today I'm heading off to the beach to celebrate my big sister from my sorority's wedding and I couldn't be more excited. Sun, sand, getting to see old friends and lotssssss of seafood….does life get any better? Oh and a million outfit changes doesn't hurt :)

 This month's We the Fashionati Style Profile is "A Lesson in Layers" and If you guys are like me you have been acquiring pieces that you can't wait to wear for Spring….so wear those pieces now just layer and layer…..and layer!!!

I'm going to be real for a second (yes this is a long post) for the past couple of months I haven't been able to put as much into the blog and responding to you guys as much as I would like because toddler hood and potty training are kicking my ass…also I've gotten into a rut….but when Who What Wear's 30 Day Wardrobe Challenge came across my screen this weekend it seemed like just the right kick to get me into high gear. I'll be posting 3 looks today and then starting Wednesday I'll play catch up with the first 4 looks from the challenge and then following up every day….. because as John D. Rockefeller so aptly pointed out "Don't be afraid to give up the good to go for the great"
