Top it Off

jumpsuit: graylee designs (loving this one) // hat: missoni for target (old, similar here)// clutch: vintage chanel // watch: michael kors (available here) // bracelet: stella & dot

Day 9 of the Who What Wear 30 Day Wardrobe Challenge was "wear the hat you claim you can't pull off." You know when you're at the point where if you see one more neon tulle skirt you might vomit? I'm there, I've been there, I was over it the first 30 times……why not something chic like a jumpsuit with some vintage Chanel to go out to dinner in? And a word for the wise…If you are going to do a fabric like tulle than make it fierce and offset it with dark colors and more structured shapes like Sheree did here…… stepping off my style soapbox now :)

PS I'll be catching up on all of my new things on Wednesday :)

You guys.....if you aren't tapping into the full potential of the maxis in your closet then DO IT NOW! Throw on a leather jacket or blazer and boom, instant unexpected but weather appropriate ensemble. I know it may seem like I'm trying to be all coy with my fedora but the wind was blowing so hard I was literally just trying to keep it from blowing away.....I look like I got some swag though right?!! London eat your heart out ;)

I don't know about you guys but this has been one of the most hectic Decembers of my life....I've had several events every week and I'm pretty exhausted. Last night I had a Christmas dinner with some of my (I can't really say former because they are sisters for life) sorority sisters and it was desperately needed. My husband and sweet baby boy both have strep-throat and its been miserable in our household for the past several days. This jumpsuit and a couple glasses of wine have been the only things keeping me going.....a lunch date with Molly certainly helped too!! I'll say have a happy weekend skrillas with the last bit of energy I have left :)

And for the necklace du jour ......The Stella & Dot Lillith Fringe

And in case you missed something this week......
