Day 18 of the Who What Wear 30 Day Wardrobe Challenge was "test out a new tuck." (yes I skipped day 17 because I haven't been shooting in order but it will be up next week).

Its now safe to say I have a thing for vintage skirts. This vintage Givenchy one stopped my heart upon first sight and i knew it would have a welcome place in my wardrobe. I swear folks, they just don't make things like they used to, the quality of this skirt is ridiculous. Can't wait to wear it again.

Sheww friends, last week was a doozy…..with everyone in our house being sick I honestly didn't make it out of the same pair of sweatpants until Friday. Doodle didn't go to school or take one single nap so let's just say my brain was a little bit fried…couple that with the overload of sequins and sparkles on the blogosphere lately and my eyes are literally burning. Anywhos….I'll see you guys again on Christmas morning, hope yours is merry and bright :)

Alright skrillas, I wore this ensemble to my (one) date night with the hubs last month and it felt great to sit at our favorite local Italian place eating by candlelight just the two of us. I loved the tee, skirt and blazer but thought it looked a little too "pretty", you know what I mean? So I threw on my favorite chambray and it added the perfect amount of edge….its going to be one of my favorite layering pieces this season. Creating interesting outfits is all about adding the unexpected…and striking a balance…see you Friday.
