Well friends, I wore this little number to ladies night on Friday. I was feeling super cute and saucy.....and then my doodle man threw up for the first time in his life. As a mother watching your child suffer in unexplainable.......then on Sunday I was on the way to a little get together when I got sick.....then literally 30 minutes later my husband got sick. Needless to say this wasn't my favorite weekend ever but I'll tell you one thing:  waking up Tuesday morning and having the strength to get out of bed put everything into perspective. Life is beautiful and as long as you have your health and happiness NOTHING else matters, ya dig? 

PS we thought we were in the clear of this stomach virus but the hubs got sick again as I was writing this so.........here we go!!!

Shew what a week guys. I'm incredibly happy to be going on a mini vacay this weekend to a little inn on the water with the hubs to celebrate our "un-anniversary". What's that you ask? Well the hubs and I technically got married in July of 2011 but I was 8 months preggars so we waited 'til last April 21st for the big wedding ceremony. So we are celebrating that a year has gone by since that CRAZYYYY day and the fact that we get to start going and having fun at other people's weddings and not having any stress about flowers, cakes or music. Hope you guys have a fabulous weekend!

Hello friends, let me start by saying there are several rare things going on here......tonight the hubs and I have a date night at our favorite Italian restaurant (which happens every couple of months) also I'm wearing a little black dress. I know I'm one of the only people in the world that is not a big fan of the LBD but I'll be honest.... I usually find them boring. However, the laser cut detail on this one just spoke to me (and the fit spoke to the part of me that actually wanted to look attractive to my husband instead of my usual husband repelling ensembles). Paired with my rockstuds and a statement necklace and I'm all set for date night. PS Molly and I totally snuck onto private property to snag these pics.....rebels without a cause :) By the way are we loving the site design?!!!!!!!

Let me start by saying that I SERIOUSLY get excited for London fashion week....I don't know what it is but those London chicks have this undeniable coolness when it comes to their style that I just love. They make me want to take my eclectic style and run with it so that's what I'm doing!!!. I'm a little bummed that its so FREAKING cold and windy here because this Le Tote top is gorgeous and I wanted to show the back to yousss guys but my fingers were frozen stiff so it was all I could do to get that trench coat off....naturally I had to start the London series with a trench :) Stay warm skrillas

Hello hello....I know I just kind of hit you Monday with the new hair color without an explanation...so let 'splain myself. I'm tired of being deemed a "cute" little blonde girl. I just happen to be blonde and little but that doesn't mean that I'm "cute"....and I know that the term cute isn't bad but for some reason it holds a negative connotation for me, its just that I can think of so many other adjectives to describe myself. So....while standing in the hair color aisle at Walgreens this weekend with an issue of Glamour in one hand and my skinny vanilla latte in the other I said "what the hell, lets do this....." And I'm not sure if you can tell.....but that last picture is me "grabbing the bull by the horns" a nice little analogy for what is happening in my life at the moment. 

Soooo I'm curious, is there anything that you guys have been thinking about doing but just haven't had the guts to?????? PS how awesome is this Le Tote top......loving it with the new do!

Happy happy Monday skrillas.... notice anything new.....bahaha well I should hope so. Anywhos, I'm sure by now you all have heard of Netflix (it literally got me through my pregnancy) but have you heard of Le Tote? Well its kind of like Netflix for clothes....no joke!!!!!! You sign up and pay a monthly fee and they have a stylist pick 3 clothing items and 2 accessories and then they send it your way!!!! After you are done wearing the items...however long that may be....you just ship them back (for free) and then they send you the next "tote"....AND its unlimited for the monthly fee....WHAT, yea I said it, you can send and receive as many totes as your heart desires. Its magical really....their slogan is "your closet. expanded," I mean literally, its like you have a never ending closet. Pretty coolio if you ask me. 

This pretty fawesome faux leather skirt was my favorite item out of the current tote.....usually I would have paired it with a crazy pattern or funky color....but I decided to stick with neutrals and let my hair be the pop of color (never in my life did I think I would say that bahaha). Can't wait to show you the next item from my tote!

PS are you not totally in LOVE with these Kawaii Kitsch sunnies?? Shut up the answer is yes!!! If you haven't checked out Allison's (from A's Fashion Files) etsy shop then stop what you are doing and head over there....I have like 3 more pairs on my wish list right now!!!
