The Shawlsmith London Cravette: Spring Preview

I am so excited to be sharing the Spring Preview of a new Shawlsmith London product launch called the Cravette!! A couple of months ago I got to go down to the Shawlsmith London studio and check it out and help be part of the advertising!! I don't know about you guys but I give a lot of scarves as gifts and I cannot even count the amount of scarf tying tutorials I end up having to give. Problem solved: the Cravette is a lightweight accessory that has the chain of a necklace around the nape and the drape of a scarf around the neck…..My only questions were "How has no one thought of this before?" and "How many patterns can I get this in?!"

You guys know I love my neutrals so the "Nala Square" in Champagne (not to mention 100% silk) was definitely my favorite. But of course with Spring coming up there are so many great color ways and patterns. With all of the pastels sent down the Spring '14 runways it will be easy to incorporate the trend with the Sky, Lavendar, Peach & Soft Orange Shades and of course for the more daring wait till you see the Celine Neon Silver & Watercolor Tangerine!!

I was so thrilled and honored to be part of the advertising for the Cravette……it is going to catch on like wildfire!!! I will definitely keep you guys updated on where and when it will be available and for any Shawlsmith London events going on in Raleigh!!!

The Doodle man and myself have been under the weather the past couple of days but we powered through our annual shopping trip like champs. I don't know about you guys but when I'm sick I crave comfort in the form of my favorite clothes. My 3 favorite scarves…my fave 2 pairs of Rag and Bone jeans, my moto style jean jacket  and some pairs of pony hair Sam Edelman shoes were just the ticket. Saturday night we went to our favorite Brazillian Steakhouse so I at least put a nice outfit on for that (plus I've had this vintage skirt for 5 years now and still have yet to wear it so it was time). Anywhos, wish us luck at the doctor today and remember your vitamin c :))

       This past weekend was for my fourth time going to the annual mountain weekend with my husband's family. The first year that I went my husband and I had just started dating and I can't even get into the number of funny stories that happened that weekend. By the second year going my husband and I were married and the Doodle man himself made the trip. Each year is spent taking in the gorgeous scenery, holding a trick or treating session on our hall of the lodge and spending hours at night getting a little too zealous over Catch Phrase and Scatagories. I look forward to the trip because I get to bust out my favorite sweaters, scarves and boots.
