I wore both of these ensembles to fashion shows last month and I have to say my favorite part about both of these is that neither "dress" is an actual dress. The first little number is a vintage Burberry wool liner from a trench coat and when I found it I couldn't wait to wear it as a vest but thought it would look really freaking cool belted as a dress. The second look is actually a belted kimono and I can't take credit for this because my girls at fab'rik had the idea to make it into a dress. Its not hard to see I'm crushing on all things fringe right now....and have recently acquired more....oopsies.

You guys know I lurve me some patterns...BUT I don't think you need patterns to make an outfit interesting....playing with different textures like leather, fur and fringe can most definitely take an outfit to the next level ("#chictothenextlev".....bahaha I hope you got that). Not to mention the new Carmen necklace from Stella & Dot has just had me channeling some boho vibes lately....and ok yes that is the third faux fur vest I've worn this week but its gone from 33 degrees to 76 back down to the 40's and I don't know how to stay warm/cool/I'm so confused the only thing I know to do is layer!!!! PS that IS a box of cheerios in my Louis....because you never quite know when they can come in handy....for the doodle or for myself....happy weekend skrillas :)
PPS...I don't know if you noticed my hair this week....but I said "mom hair beware" and straightened it with my new Hana flat iron thanks to Misikko.....I actually look presentable for once...but don't get used to it :)

And in case you missed an outfit this week....PS notice the shades...they are Kawaii Kitsch by A's Fashion Files and I can't wait to show you my new pair next week!!
